Nope it's a unique ID that you find in your settings! A combination of letters. When you're able to, head to the settings gear in game, go to "Profile" and there will be an option to show your support ID!

I spent a year trying to be a full time youtuber before I got into the game industry. I managed to get up to 150k subscribers, which is pretty decent. It was sooooooo much work though. It looks really easy and fun but you're putting in crazy hours, for very little return. I was making far less than minimum wage. It was fun too, don't get me wrong, but I have soooooooo much respect for content creators that manage to stick at it and make it their livelihood. Then, when I joined the games industry, I saw that streamers/youtubers playing your game can completely change the fate of your game. The difference between an indie game having absolutely no sales, and going viral, can literally come down to youtubers/streamers playing it. I worked on games such as Surgeon Simulator, I am Bread, and Pigeon Simulator, before Fall Guys - and all of them, owe a lot of their success to creators.

Yeah, I think first we see how many BoBs we have then figure out communication types and how we scale that out from there! :) but also, it isn't a replacement for our OVERALL community - which is everyone here ofc, and Twitter, and Discord, and Insta, so sometimes polls will always be community wide (object names for example) - but this is for targeted, qualitative feedback outside of just our beta tests etc. The beaniest of beans.

It's not that we 'think it'll be good PR' it actually IS good PR and we have data and analytics to back it up. You can track streamer views against sales of the game and against concurrent players. If you look at Among Us, or the new hype around Rust - Streamers 100% can massively impact the popularity and success of a game. It's no harm/cost to us to give them a little something extra to make their streams more fun, and if it helps them create better content, then it is a win all around.

You're not losing anything because we give them something extra. You're actually benefitting too, because the better the game does, the more people play it, the more we can support it, and then the more content you get.

A streamer being gifted a costume they really wanted, live, on stream, is really fun content for their audience.

Private Lobbies was launched with people who have communities first as it takes 40+ beans to fill a lobby right now, though that functionality will change and expand over time and we'll be bringing them to everyone where we can!

For Crowns/Kudos, are you referring to the times where a CM has gifted a streamer for an event/with an audience sporadically? Or is this something you're seeing regularly? I don't do these myself but just checking what's going on :).

For costumes - each season we will have some reserved for various giveaways on social media. These won't always be one particular kind of giveaway (I.E, these won't always be art-based or similar). There will be a lot of opportunities to enter and get these exclusive costumes as time goes on. It'll be up to you how much you can commit to it, as we'll be tappin' up our Board of Beans for a variety of things over the year! Members of the BoB will be asked to complete more surveys ad-hoc, give us feedback on a variety of secret things, and more. Each time you are asked to help us with feedback for something, you'll have the option to decline/ignore, but being a BoB member ensures we can directly contact you about it.
