Hello,

Me and my friends noticed a bug in For Honor, it's that when you exit the game or even alt+F4, the game is still running in the background, eating ~1.2g of ram.
I've seen many threads in the past (2 years I believe) and this is still not fixed.

I think this is a shame and should be fixed ASAP, we should not run task manager every single time to kill the process, this is of course, very annoying.

Best Regards, L-W

Hey there @Liquid_Hwite , thanks very much for reaching out! I understand you've found For Honor not to close properly when quitting the game, and I'm glad you've let me know. I'd really like to investigate this.

I can see we had reports of this issue back in 2019, but our teams had let us know that the issue was fixed. Can you make sure to check our troubleshooting guide for me? In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running the game with administrator rights, you've verified the game files, you've got your Windows install fully updated, and you've (at least temporarily, for testing) deactivated all background programs.

If the issue persists after those steps, can you let me know? I'll have some further ideas to try, as well as some stuff we can do to help us investigate internally. Thanks again for your post, I'll keep an eye out for your response 🙂

Hey @Terry-McGinnis

The dev team have been made aware that we still see reports of this and the issue has been reopened for them to look into again. As you mentioned you have already seen the troubleshooting we can suggest, so it doesn't seem to be an issue that can be resolved from troubleshooting on players computers themselves and needs to be something addressed by the dev team with a game update.
