Hi, since the last patch I have this problem where I can not connect with friends in any way. I try sending them invites from in game, from Ubisoft Connect app, and from the game overlay, but all theyget is a message indicator (a dot indicating a message), but there's no invite, it's like all they are getting is an empty message.

I also can not chat with them, when I try to initiate a chat, nothing happens, my chat window is empty.

I can't also create groups. When I try to do this, I get "you are not authorized" message displayed in red at the bottom. Here is what the message looks like:

I can't join friends' groups either (when I click either accept or reject, it does nothing, the invite to the group just won't disappear no matter what I click).

I tried the following connectivity troubleshooting already:

- I disabled Windows firewall (I don't have any other firewall).

- I have all the ports open, my NAT type is green. Here you can see my NAT type:

- I have reinstalled For Honor and Ubisoft Connect, also I tried installing For Honor on Steam, but issues persisted. I am also running it as an admin and made sure it is not being blocked by any firewall.

- I have flushed DNS.

- I restored the Hosts file back to default.

As far as the game itself is concerned, I can play it just fine. It's just that I cannot connect with friends in any way, be it sending an invite or chat with them. I can add them to my friend list though, but that's about it.

Help :(

Hi there TheHauntedSkies. First off, welcome to the Forums! I'm sorry that this issue with inviting and joining friends is what brings you here, however. Just to confirm, are you encountering this issue while playing the game on Windows 10?

Also, I see that you've completed some extensive connectivity troubleshooting steps. Thanks for listing those off for me! Since you're still encountering this issue, however, I recommend verifying your game files as well.

Thanks for the update and I'm sorry to hear you two are still encountering this issue. To collect some further information, could you confirm the launcher (Ubisoft Connect, Epic, Steam) you were initially launching For Honor from before this issue occurred?

TheHauntedSkies: Thanks for sharing this with me. I gathering reports of this to share with our team.

Giggle007: Could you confirm if you are launching For Honor initially from the Ubisoft Connect, Epic, or Steam client?
