This has been an ongoing issue for months now. Basically, I can't invite friends into groups and I can't access the ingame store.

I have tried many ways to fix this. Neither verifying file integrity through Steam or fresh installs work. Please do not advise them as solutions.

Another notable issue. When I'm booted from a battle, (usually Breach), over some random error, (possibly an unpreventable millisecond lapse in FPS), I cannot be reinvited by my friend through Uplay and am forced to exit out of the game/restart. The odd thing about this though is the game is still running regardless and I'm forced to access the Windows Task Manager to manually shutdown forhonor.exe in the Processes tab. It never shuts down automatically and I can't play again until I do.

Has anyone else encountered issues like these before? I love this game but I've been tempted to uninstall thanks to them.

If you are having issues with your Steam overlay while playing For Honor.

To try and get this resolved could you please follow the steps below:

- Go to Steam > Settings > In-Game tab.
- Make sure "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game" is ticked.
- Go to your Steam Library.
- Right click on the game and select Properties.
- In the General tab, make sure "Enable Steam Overlay while in-game" is ticked.

You may also need to clear your browser cache in Steam. To do this:

- Navigate to Steam > Settings
- In the Settings Menu find "Web Browser"
- "Delete browser cache" > OK

If you need any further assistance completing these steps or still encounter issues please feel free to let us know.

Hey Aikurisu,

Please accept my apologies for the delayed reply to your thread. Please try to avoid bumping threads, as it does not result in a faster reply and can obscure your provision of important information for investigation. I've merged your posts together to this effect.

You mentioned in your original post that you verified the file integrity of For Honor, as well as freshly installed the game. Could you please also try reinstalling Uplay PC, as well as the rest of the steps in our basic PC troubleshooting guide that you have not yet performed?

To eliminate the possibility of your access issues being connectivity-related, I would also ask that you run through our connectivity troubleshooting for For Honor on PC. Let me know whether these steps improve the situation.

Hey ArtSoulsm,

I am sorry to hear that you're encountering these issues.

You mention that you've raised a ticket about this. Can you drop the ticket number?
