[2021] Need Help Fixing Not Owner Of Game Problem

Hi Everyone, so basically I have a ubisoft account from my xbox that I've had for years now and for some reason when I bought rainbow six siege on PC and tried to play it from steam, my steam decided to just instantly make a brand new ubisoft account and that's now bound to my steam so now any time I try and play a game that requires ubisoft I literally HAVE to play it on the new account. I've tried signing out of ubisoft connect and then signing back into the main account then loading the game on steam and then steam asks me If I want to transfer the data to my main account so of course I click "accept" then ubisoft tells me I don't actually own the game so then it just doesn't work.
