After several months I decided to turn the crossplay option OFF so that I can match players on equal footing meaning no hardware advantages or disadvantages. There is enough of that with characters themselves. But right now if I turn OFF crossplay equals not being able to play with anyone that has crossplay active no matter the platform. This is a problem that needs resolving. Why give us an option if there in reality is no option? My and everyone else's expectation was that if one choses to turn the crossplay function OFF would only get paired with players using the same platform no matter their setting. At least in duels. This is not the case. Right now that option is useless do to the fact that YOU chose to turn crossplay ON for ALL players when it launched. This is a huge issue that needs resolving. If we can be paired based on skill, lvl, modes etc then surely we can be paired based on our console preferences. Or next update turn all players crossplay options OFF so that they themselves can turn that option ON by choice. Problem solved. I hope that you see my point. This is a issue and a big one. We were promised a choice. There is none. I would not be surprised if the last gen player base starts to fall off cause right now last gen players are being thrown under the buss.

Hi @YetLagg

Sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the way crossplay currently works in the game. The crossplay and matchmaking features are still being tweaked as the developers are working to improve the experience, so any feedback on this is always appreciated! I'll pass it on to them, please keep an eye on our forums and social media channel for any updates on the game, thanks!
