I noticed that a few days ago once closing For Honor whether through Alt+F4 or quitting to desktop from the main menu that the game stayed open in the back ground (noticed this in task manger.) This meant I couldn't re-load or open the game again. This wasn't the problem however as I just ended the task. But then I noticed that my applications and even file manager and sometimes Windows would show the "not responding" error.
I formatted my hard drive and that seemingly solved the issue. However, upon re-installing For Honor and playing it today I suffered the same issues, especially the not responding issue. I have uninstalled the game and the problem has stopped.
I love For Honor, played it on Xbox and now PC. And I've put money into so I'm hoping there is a fix for this so I can re-install and play the game.
I am sorry if I can not supply any files or screenshots/recordings however I am not willing to take the risk of having the game installed as it is causing serious issues.
