So the other day, I was in a -private- lobby of Arcade with my friend, and I was playing as Warmonger.
I have this execution called Sylvan Vaporization, and so I was showing it off to my friend, and said 'Look at this exe.' then, 'She [censored] vaporizes them!' and as I went to say 'lol' afterwards, all I get met with is:
"Your text chat privileges have been temporarily suspended."
Following with an email stating it's for 3 days.
So, at first I was wondering if it was anything else I had said that might've been a little too silly. Only to realize that it was in fact because I had used the word 'vaporized'.
I had came to this conclusion when my friend had -also- said vaporize in a sentence and was also banned in chat. Why is this? If this is really an issue then what are you guys doing?
I've straight up had people tell me to, and how to kill myself. Only to run into them the next day, and say the same exact thing. But I get banned for admiring an execution -you- put in the game? This makes absolutely no sense.
I am not heated, or mad, just... Frustrated. I feel like this was completely uncalled for. I feel like there was no reason for this ban. If you don't want me to say certain things, how about just not letting them be posted in chat instead of just an immediate ban, right there and now. Or be like Digital Extremes and -warn- you not to post that before a ban. Because just outright banning someone without even telling them the cause is really defeating the whole purpose of learning from your mistakes, and really takes away from customer satisfaction. I do love this game, I had no intent on being toxic, and to put the cherry on top, I was in a private lobby with just me and my friend. What is the need for a ban? Who am I offending? The bots in arcade? Did the bots report me?
I've had games that banned me for things (Albeit kinda goofy things) and tell me in the ban email 'you have said x'. In this case, I was chat muted for replying 'F' when someone got kicked. (Warframe doesn't like the letter F.)
This post is a warning and a question, as I believe this isn't actually the For Honor team itself, but rather an AI algorithm dedicated to detecting toxic phrases, and vaporize must've found it's way through the filter. The warning is for anyone reading it... Don't say vaporize.
