How many times has it happened to you that when you start a mission, some waves spawn an excessive number of Smashers (6-7 at a time) at the begin of them, causing major issues as they destroy structures almost instantly, without letting you do anything about it? Yes, they can slowly be stopped with traps or plasmatic discharger, but I don't think it's a pleasure for anybody when it happens, especially in higher-level missions. This imbalance reduces players to use strategic defenses effectively. I'd suggest to either reduce the amount or just divide that number of smashers with a delay of 20 or 30 seconds between each spawn.
