That's exactly what they don't want because "hype" ususally results in "Community overhyping themselves", resulting in "unrealistic expectations", concluding in "disappointment because unrealistic expectations were obviously not met"
100% this. I understand that everyone wants more information regarding things we're working on. And trust me, I want everyone to know the awesome things we're working on.
However, please keep in mind that game development has many cycles and things can change. I don't want to put out a huge write up on a feature, and then it has to change based on bugs, design, etc, and then literally make the information we've given.. false.
