External link →When the roadmap is ready.. it will be stuck to the top of the sub-reddit. I don't have more details to share at the moment as we are shifting some things around.
This is typically the reason it's hard to 100% commit to releasing a roadmap. There are some things in testing that may require a delay or push in release timing. Releasing content information is tricky because the minute it is published.. expectations are set. And we definitely don't want to publish something that generates hype + sets expectations and then fails because it needs to be pushed. I've seen the "then don't delay it!" response quite a bit and it's definitely not that simple in game development.
I would definitely rather have you guys upset at me for not releasing a roadmap vs me releasing a roadmap, hyping you guys up for something awesome, and then letting you down if it gets delayed.
