After being notified that there was something weird with structure health in wargames I did some testing to see what is the cause, the BASE or the structure health itself.

After activating a wargame the structure health of a tier 3 metal wall is 5600, after applying a BASE with BASE Kyle in support (+28% health) it goes up to 7164, which is an increase of exactly that, 28%, so BASE Kyle and BASE powers are unchanged.

What has changed is the wall health after activating the wargames, this has gone down from 9800 to 5600 for unknown reasons.

Before 9.1 (NO BASE)

After 9,1 (NO BASE)

To test if this is limited to wargames I entered a PL128 mission by myself and built a tier 3 metal floor and wall and applied BASE, this resulted in the exact same numbers in wargames before 9.1, therefore this new bug is limited to wargames.

I will be looking into the actual "PL" at which structures are at now in wargames.

The exact issue has been found: Wargame structure health is limited to PL76 conditions instead of PL128 like before, building tier 3 metal walls in PL76 missions results in 5600 HP, exactly the same as in wargames post 9.1

TL;DR Wargames has a new bug in which structure HP is not boosted to wargame level after activating, this causes structures to be at a lower "PL" than the wargames are supposed to run at which is the same as a PL128 mission.

PS: This was tested using maxed out PL, SSD, etc.

To be fair.. Trap durability in Fortnite has always been a thing. In any mission you play.. you lose durability and the trap is gone after the mission ends. I would definitely disagree with the "Wargames is completely broken" sentiment as you can hop in and play. Trap durability does not prevent you from actually being able to zone in and complete a Wargames simulation. The durability thing is an issue, we're aware of it, and trying to get it fixed.

However, I 100% understand where this frustration is coming from and we're working as hard as we can to get the issue taken care of. We thought it was corrected in v9.10.. however there is a case that is preventing trap durability from resetting on a victory. The team is current plugging away to get this issue taken care of.. we're estimating that we can get a fix out this week. But I can't 100% commit to that as any change that takes place requires more testing.

You are indeed correct, we can play and we can complete it, however it comes at a cost. To get the better rewards in missions we have to go the the higher zones and use our traps. To complete war games we have to use our traps. We need resources to craft these traps and gathering these resources can be quite time consuming so we have to make a decision. Also there is the principle of the matter. War Games was stated to have traps that reset their durability so we can experiment and have fun with. So far not many people that I have seen have been doing much experimenting as it's too costly to keep changing designs, we aren't having fun because we are constantly keep this cost in our minds when we are rebuilding.

In all honesty to save a little bit of face your overlords would be better off just pulling war games until it is working as intended, not throwing even more modifiers at it and compounding the issues.

I love the building aspect of the game, I dont love the farming of resources.

Trust me. I want this bug resolved just as much as you guys do and I'm pushing to have it fixed as soon as we are able.
