After defeating an enemy with a melee weapon or edged damage, the Ninja enters a Shadow Stance for 4 seconds. During Shadow Stance damage resistance is increased by 15%, Mantis Leap costs 60% less energy and the Ninja becomes more difficult to see.

your crosshair will appear as for a weapon you've used when the passive ended for the first time in the game. Many times I've been struggling having a pickaxe/shotgun crosshair for the entire game. What's worse is the fact that it won't get smaller if you zoom your weapon. Also, if you weapon breaks, you will lose the crosshair entirely.

What's also annoying is the fact that the ammo count will appear for the same weapon you had while losing the passive ability. So if pickaxe/melee, you won't see the clip ammo.

PS: I know I've used the Xbox record function. My DVR is set to 4K60FPS and that requires manual upload to the internet, it just stays on the hard drive so I recorded it quickly with my phone to save myself some headache.
