About three months ago /u/FreightTrainUSA said that Switch users could post about their issues/concerns in this subreddit.

Switch posts are about as popular as mobile posts in /r/fortniteBR, and /r/fortniteswitch isn't developer supported, so it makes sense to me that we have access to a more focused community with an Epic dev presence, so that our concerns can be heard.

However ...

  • Switch users don't know to come to this sub
  • Mobile users of this sub often are dismissive of Switch posts because it's the mobile sub
  • Since the merging of lobbies there's a lot of aggression directed towards Switch users

It'd be great to see some sort of recognition on the sidebar or in the logo, or something showing that Switch posts are welcome here, or even a new developer supported sub?

This subreddit description has:

The developer supported, community run subreddit dedicated to the mobile version of the Fortnite: Battle Royale game mode by Epic Games. Now on iOS, Android and Switch!

We welcome all post from our Switch players! Any changes to the subreddit come from the mods, if you have suggestions for them feel free to create a post on how to better give feedback directly for the Switch platform.

As always feel free to tag me in any post that needs my attention, switch, ios, or android. If you have any videos, screenshots, or other details add them onto the post as well so when I send them to our QA team they can have the best chance to reproduce the issue you are having.

That confused me because I couldn't see that anywhere. I looked on my desktop, my phone browser and the redditisfun app.

Turns out that's because I set my Reddit preferences to use the old Reddit "theme" where the box that shows your text doesn't show up at all.

That might be the same for lots of other users too.

Sorry for the confusion on that! I use "new" reddit vs "old" reddit so I was unaware of that not showing correctly. I can see if the mods might be able to make a change to show differently, but im not sure.
