Not sure if there's a more appropriate/better suited place to ask this. Does Epic just delete accounts with no rhyme or reason? And are you supposed to be notified by email if your account is deleted?

For context: my wife, who's been playing since C2S1, went to sign in today to find her account no longer exists. Period. No trace. I checked my friend list and she's no longer on there. But we played together like a week ago so it doesn't make any sense. We checked her email and no correspondence about it being deleted, or even accessed for that matter.

If she was 86'd (which there shouldn't be any reason because she doesn't do tourneys or arena, she plays very casually and normally only with me and our cousin), it would at least say her account was inactive. But when she clicks forgot password and types her email in, it says account not found. Her account was linked to Facebook, Xbox, PSN, and Nintendo, and we tried signing in on all 4 of those, but it said account doesn't exist.

We both tried emailing but have come up short (the rep she got asked for a screenshot of her username...how're we supposed to do that if her account doesn't exist?).

Between battle pass items (that she can't get back if she created another account) and item shop cosmetics, she has hundreds if not thousands tied up into her account that we can't replace, and I don't understand at all why this happened.

If anyone could shine some light on this, we'd be very grateful.
