Community Update
Survivors, welcome to August! Ahhh... new month, new us, quite literally! We'll be having a new update shortly and soon enough we'll be kicking our birthday celebration into high gear. Can you believe Free Fire is turning 4 years old this month? It's been a great ride so far, with a lot of exciting collaborations and events along the way. We've got a couple more surprises left in the bag, so keep that in mind!
This month will be all about celebrating Free Fire, and what makes it great: the Survivors! We'll be running daily community events on our social media, as well as some special surprises in store that we'll be revealing pretty soon. For now, however, let's take a look at what waits for us this week!

New Version Available
Survivors, we’ve got a new patch incoming! We will be taking down the Free Fire servers for maintenance later today as we perform the new update, so please keep in mind that the game will be unavailable from 11:59PM EST today until 8:00AM EST tomorrow. Once that time period is over, we’ll have a whole new patch waiting for us!
While we can’t show you the patch notes quite yet, we can talk a little bit about what you can expect in tomorrow’s patch. As always, we’ll be introducing balance tuning to both characters and weapons, including Alvaro, Jota, Shani, Luqeta and on the weapons side: the XM8, Vector, Mini Uzi, SPAS, and more. Keep an eye out for our social media today for more details on these changes, or keep your eyes peeled as we’ll be posting the patch notes on this very subreddit as soon as they’re available.
Aside from that, patch OB29 will also be introducing a new game mode: Lone Wolf. In this 1v1 showdown, you will be able to prove your skills as a solo player. This mode is aimed at those of you who are ultra competitive, so whether you just want to settle a spat or show off how good you are, this is the mode for you.
And, as a final note, this patch will also be introducing our future event! We’re still setting the stage for a grand performance, but Survivor, don’t forget that August is one of the most important months for Free Fire. It’s our birthday! We have a very special celebration in the works, so stay tuned!
Animal World
It’s challenge time! Throughout the next week, we’ll be introducing new special challenges that will provide you with Animal Tokens. Complete missions, defeat enemies, and finish games to earn these tokens, and exchange them for special rewards such as the Bunny Queen Bundle and the Oink Oink backpack!
Gold Royale: Imperial Malikah
With a new update, comes a new Gold Royale! It’s time to get, well, Royal, with the new Imperial Malikah bundle, which will be available throughout this month. Time to show off your opulence!
Faded Wheel: Destiny Guardian
Guardian, powering up. New threat detected. Survivor, let’s keep the evolution going! Introducing the brand new Evolution Gun: the Destiny Guardian XM8! This deadly rifle will be the most recent weapon to get the Evo Gun treatment, and will be available for you in Faded Wheel later this week. Power up your weapon to unlock new appearances as well as some special bonuses, and bring fate knocking to your opponents’ doors!
