@SirCooky We have reworked some of our weapons, but there are a lot in game. In future we would like to rework more of them to resolve instances like this.
@stulightup Magic is a Skill which each Troop and Weapon has. Magic scales the total damage your Troop or Hero can do with a Spell, and is denoted with a purple font in Spell descriptions. When you boost your Magic stat, your troop will do more damage, or buff more, etc.
