What I'd really like to see (in Breakpoint) is an option to kinda swap how detection clouds work. What I mean is, what if you get no indication of an enemy until you first recon and mark them yourself. They are marked as usual, but then if you and your team lose sight of them (lose line of sight, which we know the game can process because of PvP and sync shot indicators), they slowly fade and then become unmarked -- and when they do, their last known position turns into a detection cloud? Which could itself fade over time, maybe 30 seconds, until they are fully unmarked again.

I wouldn't want that to be the default, but as an option for extra challenge, realism (as "realistic" as marking enemies can be, anyway), and that promoted teamwork, communication, and careful recon, it'd be pretty rad.

Ooh, bonus points if you can interrogate people and get detection clouds added, which would give close-quarters players a way to contribute during the recon phase while the longer-range sharpshooters are scoping out.
