So there's a lot of feedback going on in this sub about stuff that we're a bit concerned about, so I wanted to start a thread listing all the stuff I've seen about Breakpoint that I love. Add what you like in the comments.
- The character models look much better than in Wildlands - specifically the hair.
- The environments look stunning. Everything is a vista.
- The sound the drones make - whoever worked on that is a sadist. They sound terrifying.
- Interiors look miles better.
- The injury system is really really brilliant. I love everything about it. I love that you don't even need the hud on to know what your health is at - that's really good game design.
- The explosions and the fire effects are some of the best I've ever seen in a game.
- The way your character is blown away when they're hit by an explosion.
- Jon Bernthal
- Drone movement is awesome - those things seem really viscous.
- Prone camo is a great addition. Love that your character stays dirty for a while afterwards too.
- Driving looks greatly improved.
- The camera position inside the helicopter when you're a passenger - yes. Dunno why - but it just makes helos seem bigger.
- flowers. flowers everywhere.
- terrain movement, and how this effects stamina and injury is just awesome. Characters look much more weighted. Great job.
- Breaching kit. thank. god.
- Moving bodies was much needed for proper stealth gameplay (hope corpse despawn isn't too quick)
- The lighting/reflections are on point - really hope the gameplay I was watching wasn't captured on PC, lol.
- Filling your water bottle up by a stream is cute. I imagine the diarrhoea mechanics that happen when you don't boil it will be something to behold also.
- The character design for the Wolves and their uniforms is mega.
