We don't know that. The image could also mean that the reward distribution was cancelled (which it was during the ubisoft event) doesn't mean the items cease to exist. There'd be no reason to add them like any other item.
It certainly seems like the support have worded it wrongly so don't jump to conclusions yet or risk spreading false information.
We are working on an alternative flow for our players to access these items, they are still coming to Ghost Recon Breakpoint. We will keep you updated on this once everything is ready to go.
