Option 1:
Yes, this is possible. Some Accounts have Cloud Saving for Saves (This includes single player saves, so it can just transfer as soon as you boot the game.

Option 2:
The more "guaranteed" method in my opinion, is making your save a "Shared World" this will 100% transfer to PC and all platforms associated with the Xbox Account.

I would reinstall Grounded/verify files, we don't have that many crash reports but the ones we do get are most of the time just have a corrupted file somewhere.

This is most likely a Nat Type Issue, as our connection is Peer-To-Peer and not on a Dedicated server.

The Host should have an Open Nat Type, while the Players connected should have above "Strict" Nat Type (Using Xbox Terms).


Unfortunately there's not much else I can help with here as I don't know your Internet Situation. But more information about this topic is Called "Port Forwarding" online

If you want a quick fix, you can progress in New Game+ as going to the next NG+ cycle should spawn it in

Re-Enable Crossplay to get your saves back after the update

Your saves are still present just re-enable crossplay to get them back.

Make sure you both have crossplay enabled or disabled.

Only Users in the same "State" can join eachother

To be clear, your save is not gone.

Its still there, just re-enable cross-play and the save will still be present :)

We are aware of the Location Obstructed building bug in Grounded. The team is currently working on a solution for this issue and we'll update players as soon as we have more information to share.

Please note that the issue seems to occur with bases built around or on large objects such as the oak tree, wood pile, picnic table or other large in-game landmarks.

Our team is currently looking into this bug. They have figured out that if you build on the mushrooms in the oak tree, this will trigger that issue.
