I just got out of a few matches of social myself though.
If you were logged in at the time the playlists were swapped, I believe you still have access to the old file until it either caches or you log back in. I imagine this is why you were able to keep playing with other folks who were actively within social when they made the switch.
Something i've noticed with MCC Reach is the Weapon icons on the HUD, and when you get pick up prompt, don't look the same as 360. In fact, it looks like a sort of hybrid of the beta and final versions.
The weapons also sound more muffled in the MCC and play only one sound, rather than alternate variations, when fired.

are you able to also report this via the support site? One, we are using these flights to also test that new site and how it operates, etc.. but two, it gives a more direct line to the team. Appreciate you flagging this, thank you!
So I'm curious, are you guys still on track to release Reach by the end of the year? I do appreciate all the dev updates and stuff, but it doesn't really give a good indication of how much work you have left.
We've never given a release date or window yet other than "it's ready when it's ready." Things are going pretty good though, but these flights (and more importantly PC, since it's new) will inform a lot about the work ahead, remaining issues, etc..

Welcome aboard! We need your help! If you can, please try and play Social Matchmaking tomorrow (10/5) between 5-9PM PT. We are trying to drive a large number of concurrent players to really stress our systems and services.

No guarantees here obviously - we still have far more Halo Insiders opted-in than we can really accommodate. But, good news is that it sounds like we're adding upwards of 15K more people over the course of the day. Part of the selection criteria will be targeting eligible Insiders who have been active in H5/MCC over the past 90 days (in an attempt to get engaged players in who will actually play). Not sure of the exact cutoff criteria / definition of 'active'. Thus far we've seen somewhat disappointingly low engagement amongst the large initial group that was invited. We're looking to drive a big push for tomorrow's 5-9PM PT play session to really get a high concurrent player count and try and stress services more. If you get an invite (or already did), please plan to join us tomorrow evening if at all possible!
Community Spotlight is always great. But this one I felt was a step above. So much fantastic talent this week.

Game clips are great!
Game clips uploaded to reddit are less great. It creates a LOT more work for me to get a reddit video in a state that I can actually use on our blog software.
I wish it were easier and I know it's something we've requested but I have no idea if/when any changes will be made so in the meantime, I recommend clipping your games via DVR (or capture card I guess) and then tweeting them using #HaloSpotlight.
It's much easier for me to work with tweets (and of course YouTube links!) than it is a reddit clip. I might make exceptions for longer reddit videos but even then, it's a bit of a pain in the rear.

I felt the same issues on my end. I only played 3 or 4 matches last night but some things like melees felt a bit off
If you have clips/films and can report via the support site, that would be super helpful for the team. The more information and specifics, the better.
I literally can’t get it to download the right build of insider.. still don’t have reach. I followed the instructions in the e mail to a T. I’ve hard reset the console 3 times. Any tips??
it's been an issue for some folks (myself included). I unenrolled/re-enrolled and power cycled by console multiple times last night and it finally worked. Hope yours eventually did, too
I haven't really experienced many issues with the flights besides a few bugs. Besides that. It's been running smoothly. It crashed once or twice. That's all the issues I had so far with game crashing bugs, there are two I noticed, I've been binge playing it, thank you 343 <3
