Because of current limitations, we are not planning on having more than 100,000 slots. We want to focus on improving the quality of services (updates/anticheat/staff/customer support/performances/etc).

We are hiring as many talented people as we need to get to a happy place!

The goal is to scale our team to be in a stronger position to deliver a better service to our community with more updates, tools and support.

SkyBlock is becoming a large scale MMO that requires a team of its own and we are aware many parts of the server could be improved.

New talented admins joining the team and more interviews happening for @HypixelNetwork in the coming weeks!

@Parsha_XD @Lego_Maestro This is our first run at doing an Alpha test, so we knew that kind of stuff would happen, and we were there to react quickly.

All in all, it has no impact on players - the downside is that now the devs have to spend time on this and investigate manually a few players

@Parsha_XD @Lego_Maestro All in all, I think players are panicking too much but I understand why;
1. they saw AH/BZ being closed for a few minutes
2. they saw some weird auctions going around
3. they saw some big players getting banned

the actual economic impact is none, especially because we wiped fast

@Parsha_XD @Lego_Maestro We thought of everything in regards to bz/ah, except we didn't take into moving servers for 2 reasons.
1. We didn't expect alpha to need more than 500 slots at all
2. performance issues (mem leak getting progressively getting worse) that bad

@Parsha_XD @Lego_Maestro We had a performance issue on the alpha network that was progressively getting worse and people were angry at limited slots. To buy time, we moved servers from some servers from the normal network.
However, the system handling the bz/ah was still using the old IP for a few secs.
