Dont you feel that this change makes it so ocean rift is the absolute best rift for qyiana now? Sure rock is nice but not having to walk to river ever time to grab a water element when you are sieging or being sieged is absolutely too strong for such an RNG factor IMO.
Data shows that it's not too strong. It's a very minor difference that everyone gets to play around. Infernal just gives her more AD to pop you with!
how much data do you have on it if most people probably don't know about it?
We have the data that we have! We look at it ever patch anyway, so if anything changes drastically, we can react.
Can you determine which Ocean elemental games have Qiyana players that are aware of the special interaction? I guess my question is more about if you think the sample size is large enough, considering most players likely don't yet know of that interaction.
We often get asked about sample size, but honestly, Riot is spoiled with our sample sizes! I can look up very obscure things and still have thousands of games of data (ranked Ivern games on Cloud terrain at high MMR still has over 1000 games played in NA and EUW alone!).
But, opinions and behaviors change over time. We'll keep an eye on this data in case Qiyanas pop off on ocean.
I kinda want to work at riot just to go through the data now.
