I get that people don't like change but this reaction is way out of proportion. The new logo is fine and it will help use the branding in every medium - from stream production, to merch.

A lot of people are mistaking the logo for an illustration. Logos are meant to be clean, legible and easy to reproduce and this one is all that. That doesn't mean the branding will be dull or interesting. Aside from the logo itself, the branding consists of key art, color palette, patterns, typography, animations and a slew of other things that create a cohesive imagery. Having a simple logo helps make all the other things shine. Just look at how simple the LEC logo is and how well it works with the rest of the branding.

If that's true, that @The_Cactopus is the author - I don't want to write stuff like "hehe you're to slow with posting grandpa!" - you have my respect, because that image was funny as fk. If not - respect for the author, whoever he/she is.
