External link →Hes the same one who went to worlds, though so did Fudge and he was considered a rookie.
No one knowledgeable in the scene considered Fudge a rookie.
u logged in to reddit and commented for the first time in days just to dunk on this one rando lmao i love you phreak
Hey listen, I logged into Reddit a few days ago. I just don't always post.
Either way, thank you :)
But wait, Phreak's here too. One of us! One of us!
ONE OF US ONE OF US Wait...
Probably you get too much of this, but I love your work. From commentary to patch run downs to the terrible, terrible puns.
Everything you touch ends up entertaining.
Thanks! It's never too much to tell someone you like what they do, so thank you, I really appreciate the kindness.
Hey can you confirm whether C9 is moving to OCE?
Yeah they get on the plane tomorrow.
I still remember your Champion spotlights when I first started playing the game in season 1. You have my utmost respect Phreak!
TY <3
Waiting...
U dum
Fudge played half a split in oce and went to worlds. Then played a year of academy. So less than half a year experience in a minor region and then academy isn't a rookie? What?
LCS league rules dictate one split in a Worlds-qualifying league is your rookie split.
LPL league rules dictate one split in the LPL is your rookie split.
Dude played in a league and qualified for Worlds. He’s wasn’t a rookie.
Was Fudge deemed a rookie in the lcs officially even if people didn’t view him as one?
And if so, what’s the requirement for a player to be viewed as a rookie by the league?
No he wasn’t.
Am I… and I about to be in a /r/DontYouKnowWhoIAm screenshot?
Hey, off topic but are we getting more Angry Phreak this year? That's been a highlight in the LCS casts imo. Love the honesty and realism.... You've come a long way from "tons of damage" and I for one am HERE for it!
It’s a trait I want to keep but I’m still figuring out the tuning and frequency.
I'll pile on then, because your work is excellent and you bring a unique set of skills (game knowledge / commentary / savage burns) to the scene.
Thank you :)
It’s the age old question. Caps was called a rookie, so was BB. Both played in turkey before they came to their respective LCS (Caps joined before the rebranding).
I don’t know the LEC rookie rules. They would not have been rookies in the LCS if they played (iirc) half a split in the TCL or LCL similar.
I more meant if the league had the official rules worded weirdly that made it so he was by the rules a rookie but no one actually viewed him as a real rookie
Kinda like Panarin in the NHL if that makes any sense here
The official wording is very clear. He played a split in a worlds-qualifying league.
It's a hard thing to do. Used to try insult humor on occasion in an attempt to seem difficult to impress or some such. Consistently overshot it and just spent a lot of time looking like an asshole instead. Even harder for you, since you can't read the body language of the roastee. Nailing it off the cuff is an art form, better you than me lol.
Sounds like you're just trash at it. Stay bronze, my friend.
I have faith you will find the right balance. I've been a fan since s3, and this was far and away the best season of Phreak, imo. It's been an honor watching you grow into a top two NA caster. You and Flowers keep the LCS must watch! Thanks dude!
Thanks :)
