A lot to discussion around the ISG vs RNG game has been about the very surprising Teemo pick, which is not surprising. However, people seem to think that it was entirely a troll and are flaming him and the org for giving up on the world's stage. That is not the case.
ADD has actually practiced this pick in Champ's Queue the most of any champ he has played in the server, with 3 games, all wins. In those games, he had a 6.3 KDA, including a game specifically into Aatrox where he went 17-1. I could not locate his solo queue account to see any practice he had there, but it seems reasonable to assume he practiced it there as well.
Basically, as far as trying to surprise a strong opponent and get a chance at a win, this was a pretty decent way to go. Teemo was only flamed because it's the funny meme champ that people assume is a joke. But compare this to the Zilean he played yesterday and it is extremely similar. A ranged harass champ not normally seen in top trying to punish Aatrox. ADD only has 1 Zilean game in CQ, so the Teemo is theoretically a better pick, yet no accusations of wintrading or giving up yesterday. Just trying to add more info to the discussion.
