It usually only occurs about 1 in every 1000 games.

But when the matchmaking elo moons align, and everyone playing is attentive, competent, friendly, playing for objectives, communicating, forgiving for mistakes, not first-time champ picking, not banning each other's hovers, not annoyingly spam pinging, not giving up...

And you really don't know how it's going to end! And then one last epic team fight, and it's over and there's legitimately no sadness or anger inside you because you just had so much fun playing. In the post-game lobby everyone is saying "gg!", "well played!", "Close one!"... And you wish you could still honor opponents, and everyone on your team gets a little honor cause everyone did well, and you just feel euphoric like you just watched the sunset...

That's the best feeling.

I live for these games...seriously. It's one of the primary reasons I love group competitive play so much. Those feelings come so much more frequently when you remove the majority of volatility that comes with 10 random people coming together.

Clash could prove to be the mode that brings this feeling more consistently. I'm excited to see where we can take it in the next couple iterations.
