With recent updates I also cannot change my rune pages without my sh*t computer lagging it's ass off. This wasn't a problem 11.15 and it sucks. I don't know what they changed but it doesn't feel like a "any crappy computer can run it" game anymore.

We have also looked into some of these problems, and almost every time we look into the crash and/or error, it's related to very outdated video card drivers and/or OS updates on a player's machine.
Can you ensure both are up to date?
Also, are you using low spec mode?
