[2021] Can someone explain to me how the meta changed?

I was looking at this subreddit and saw a post about how TF/Fizz is the only thing now. What made that happen?

I stopped playing LoR for a while (back when Lee in all decks was a thing).

Can someone clarify me here how and why the meta changed and what makes it so strong?

I think saying TF/Fizz is the "only thing now" is not accurate. Mobalytics data on the deck reports the deck at less than 10% of the meta and doesn't have an extremely high win rate.
