As we just saw, patches can be done without having to submit them two weeks in advance. Unless you're telling me they already planned this one even before releasing the cards but I don't believe you.

It might not be a perfect patch, but I, and many other I believe, don't mind.

This might be an exception before Christmas break. They did the same last year. But why does it have to be.

People always argue that playtesting withing the development team is hard. And then using the two weeks in advance argument we forgive and accept long and boring post new expansions metas.

But I think it doesn't have to be this way. When there is something that is clearly overperforming/unfun, these hotfixes I suggest should be the norm, not the exception.

Thank you for listening to my Ted talk. I hope developers listen and take this into consideration for the future. Unless everybody thinks differently. What do you think?

Different types of patches require different thresholds. For example, any change to card text has to go through multiple layers of translation and localization which has a very different set of timetables than changing a number.
