I was a beginner and was exploring LoR like 8 months ago and it felt like at that time the game was on the verge of dying. I remembered some updates at that time regarding the Ranked system (or was it the PvE track I can't remember) and LoR devs were heading over to other Riot teams. This subreddit felt depressing to read then and many were unhappy with the state of the game.

So what revived the game in recent months or weeks? Was it a new update or new vision? It seems like Ranked play is much livelier than before?

“If we died, call us Tryndamere.”

There’s a lot more cool stuff down the road too. :)

Hi Dan, thanks for being so communicative. I haven't played in a while, is there a draft mode back in the game? I know it wasn't popular but I loved expedition :(

There isn’t right now. I played it a lot too. Love draft modes. Path of Champions is how I scratch my limited itch right now.

Are there any plans on rotating URD out or adding back Rapid Draw? I personally liked it so much more

Why did you prefer Rapid Draw more? Just curious.

Dan can you look into bringing legacy cosmetics back to be purchasable in the future? Thanks

I try to look into everything that players ask for. Can’t promise results of course but we care a lot about building alongside the community, it’s why I’m on here and other areas of feedback so often.

I really hope they will bring back draft...maybe do it like Solforge did before...run it as a weekend warrior event. Since the event is limited during the weekend , it should keep the player count higher for better matchup. Each tix will allow you to play up to 7 matches. But if you lose 2x your run ends. You get rewards depending on how far you can go. You can always use shards to get more tix if you want.

Also, instead of picking one card out of groups of 3 cards like in expedition before, just make it like how we open card packs in real world draft. Player have to choose 1 card out 6 random cards for the first pick. then the next pick is 1 card out 5 cards, then 1 out of 4 cards, so on and so forth with each pick the player choose from a smaller number of choice.. then start again (akin to open a new pack) until we got 30 cards. When the player picked card from two region, the region is 'locked' and only the cards from these two region will be available in each picks. - This draft method will be easier to manage as the game admins do not need to constantly switch up the cards in the pool and do rebalancing etc. There will be a lot of RNG of course... but it will be fun

Another Solforge appreciator! I have SO many hours on solforge. Possible I left it on overnight a few times though… was sad when it ended, though I’d basically moved on to netrunner by then. I try to play all the card games :)

Someone else, but i liked rapid draw for how off the wall it was, trying to come up with strategies and wincons on the fly with the random shit you got, and planning ahead.

f**k Ledros, though.

Doesn’t URD scratch that itch too? Im interested if there’s reasons folks specifically like RD over URD or vice versa.
