I haven't tested this with all of the alternate guardians since I only own a couple, but so far it appears that only the default poro and alternate poro variants have shadows beneath them on the board during gameplay. Obviously this isn't a huge deal, but the poros definitely look more visually "correct" on the game boards as a result.

I'm guessing this is likely an easy fix, since the poro's shadow looks to just be a basic feathered circle; nothing specific to the character model itself.

Anyway, just was curious if anyone else noticed this, and whether it could be easily addressed in a future patch. I love my silverwing, but it looks weird with no shadow. :)

On Poro's Day, Freljordian tribes gather to see if the emerging Punxsutawney Poro will see his own shadow— indicating 6 more weeks of biting cold before spring.

Okay that's not canon... and while it explains why poros cast shadows, it reveals little about why silverwings do not!

Luckily it's my job to fix bugs— not write lore! I'll make sure this gets the attention it deserves. Thank you for bringing it to our attention!
