I just wanted to let players know these threads are still actively being monitored and investigated as this is a top issue, and we have folks across multiple teams working on potential solutions. Hopefully I will be able to share a better update soon.
Hi everyone, we want to take a moment to address a possible point of confusion. Recently our stance on tunneling services and our VPN policy has been called into question as we have been working through the ongoing disconnect issues. Posts referring to the use of these types of third-party tools were made in the context of gathering information to help troubleshoot a specific issue players are experiencing. Our efforts to address and resolve these disconnections are ongoing, but this does not mean that we are changing our policy on VPN, and it is still against our Terms of Use and Code of Conduct to use VPNs to play Lost Ark.
Hey everyone – we’ve seen a decline in the frequency of some of these errors following last week’s maintenance. We are still looking into this, and know it is by no means resolved, but it would be very helpful if you could let us know if you are still experiencing any SPELP/EAC errors, if the frequency has changed for you since the last update, if they are gone, if they are worse, if any changes at all have happened, etc. etc.
Hello everyone, thank you for continuing to share these reports. With the most recent updates, we’ve seen the issue clear up for some players, begin for others, and have no change for another group – definitely a frustrating situation all around. Some folks have had luck resolving this by replacing their modems with their internet providers, but we fully understand this is not a feasible option for everyone and still have engineers working on a resolution for this issue.
