Great game love playing it ! Only one question. How many idols or crafting upgrades to be able to beat mutiny? I've gotten mixed messages from many. Just a general idea will be enough.

Well, you'd want enough Idols on hand and then legendary levels and runes on your B-team to be able to clear about area 4000 on a normal free play on Ghostbeard's Greed, due to the difficulty compression on the objective.
Given that Tiernan, Hildr, Imani and Odile aren't blocked on that objective, I'd say the Idols required has probably gone down a bit since it was released, though you still need at least level 8 of the Arithmagician Talent, so in the e10 - e11 range.

I will add that I don't delve into the Dungeons because the payoff versus progress is not worth it. I focused on gaining idols, and quickly lost interest as the time to achieve any benefit wasn't worth it. Simply put, I did the math.
I would say that doing the math seems to be the issue. Keeping a game engaging and challenging is a full time task, and to add new features takes effort and calculation. With these new avenues mistakes are made, and I would hope that all can understand that. I do as I am in the software engineering business. The most important thing is what you do after a mistake has been made. Ideally you acknowledge it, analyze it, and remediate it. It seems that there is an issue with remediation at this point, as well as with play testing before features are released. I would posit that involving the long term high idol count players in pre-release play testing would be to everyone's...

That wouldn't be a talent that we add. With all the Crusaders who improve the chances for monsters to drop quest items, those quest goals go pretty quickly these days.

It's definitely something that would be handy to improve, but I don't have an ETA on when we would get around to it.

Hildr can buff the upgrades that improve a projectile ability, like with Karl's upgrade to add more footballs, as those are upgrades.

Re: crow, I just lost like 3k areas. I'm not even angry, just apathetic. Why should I bother with building formations and optimizing and all that when interactions can just be killed at the drop of a hat? Interactions that you were informed of a few days after release and made no response to. Even more so when requirements and all that will continue to be scaled to the previous levels of power. And now the replies seem to show that I can expect more such nerfs in the future.
Recent direction just makes me feel that like you guys don't understand your game and don't care enough to continue to make things attainable for people who don't play 24/7. I'm guessing that I will stop caring if the trend continues, and that's probably quitting time at that point. Would be a shame, I liked the game.
