If you place a taskmaster on Xygallix, they will keep upgrading Hourly Rate as you have the gold, since taskmasters buy upgrades while on the level up buttons.

Thank you for the chests. Looking forward to season two and tier 6 events. While I was lucky enough to finish the dungeons, several people I know are close but not quite there yet. I was asked to pass along the following question from a person who has to work: Since the dungeons are going to be turned off, any way you can extend season 1 through the weekend? (I figured No, but told them I would ask!) From me: Do we get anything fun this weekend? ;)

Veterans can free play, do challenges, do events, etc.
All resources are on season 2 and the system tied to it along with Carnival of Sorrows, so Tier 11ths would be after that at the earliest.
I also wonder if 'Outstanding rewards' (from today's announcement) means chests? Will unused chests disappear from inventory?
That note about outstanding rewards is related to the Season pass items, both free and paid.
Players didn't want the Idol bonus for level 25 from the paid pass to be claimed automatically with the season ending, so now players can choose when they want to claim all the season rewards they have left unclaimed at season's end.

It would be campaign 10, if we did a new permanent campaign.
That is not in the cards right now, with the pandemic putting a dent in our productivity this year.

We will not be translating the game into other languages. We tried for the mobile version, but there's just too much text in the game, along with our frequent updates. As well, different languages take up different amounts of space in text fields, so we'd have to make sure all dialogs could support all the lengths of text for the translations, which just isn't something we can do at this point in the life cycle of the game.
Is there any way you can continue the Dungeon season until the next one is ready? Some of us are really close to reaching level 25 to obtain the taskmaster.

Edit: Also will the amount of tokens needed for the objectives the next event be lowered? Specially the lower tiers? Cause you already need to spend warps to complete T5 and with a new tier it'll be too much.

The new feature is tied to the Season 2 debut, so you have until then.
Since players do have Ana, hoarding normal Jeweled chests isn't as important as saving rubies, but the chests will have a part to play.

i just searched the play history for the data of my last reset, more than 6k areas ago... it was pretty frustrating...
the time in play history is totaly different from my time zone.
and all the silver chest and BI entries... most of the data in the play history is pretty useless. who is interested in silver chests? 1k silver chests entries for a single run seems to be unnecessary.
and the limited entries per site... i found what i searched on page ~20
it would be great if it were possible to filter the data in play history. resets, redeemed codes, missions, opened chests, maybe jeweled chests.
or just an option to hide all the silver chest and bonus idol entries? it would be so much easier to find the information that you are looking for.

The play history has always been in server time, to make support easier. We weren't planning on having it localize for players.
Filtering the play history has definitely come up before, and it's probably worth looking into it at some point. We've just had other priorities, like game systems and events.

Thanks for the code, a few questions and points:
1) Are you able to give an idea as to when season 2 will start
2) Please can you increase the levels that rewards are given in the dungeon from 10000, we're able to push further and new crusaders will increase things further.
3) Please can you also not make season 2 easier, it's meant to be difficult, one run a day to 10000 gets you close to 300000 points, way beyond the current requirements. Maybe you could add extra reward levels after the current 25.
4) There are people suggesting that we should be saving rubies and JCs, is there anything in the pipeline that will require this, if so can you say when and give an idea as to the number we might want to keep back.
5) Please kill bruno before he ruins the game for good.
6) For the codes you dish out here, could you consider making them all tier, rather than tier 5 so that those just starting could benefit.

2) Unlikely at this time, but we'll review.
3) I'll keep the request in mind.
4) Yes, as noted above, you'll definitely want to save rubies. Jeweled chests might not be as urgent to hoard, since players have Ana. It's tied to the new system debuting with Season 2. Lots of rubies is the amount to hoard.
5) We'll be capping Bruno once the season is over. I wanted to give players a fair chance to use him for progress this season before capping his ability.
6) For the first week of the event, I give out All Tier codes here and from the stream. For the second week of the event, I give out chests for the new event Crusader.

A couple of questions (okay, five questions) regarding Dungeons, end of season, and the break.
If we are running a dungeon when the season ends, will we be able to complete that run and get any bonuses (idols, points, coins) applied when the run is over?
During the break, will we be able to buy dungeons with coins and still run them?
For those that want to buy the idol buff during the break, will the dungeon shop be available? And if the answer to #2 is "No", then please be sure to disable the dungeon run item.
Have you got an estimate on how long the "break" will last?
For achievements related to dungeons, where you need to reach a particular area on 10 runs, will those carry over and be completable in the next season? Same question on the "earn X points" and "spend X points" ones.

1) You will be able to complete the final run as normal, and the points will be applied to the Season 1 progress and gain the rewards.
2) The dungeons will be totally turned off, and the extra run instance will be disabled from purchase.
3) The dungeon store will still be accessible from its tab on the other stores, for players who want the Idol buff.
4) As long as it takes to get our ducks in a row.
5) The only dungeon achievement tied to season 1 is the complete season 1 achievement. The other achievements will be able to be earned with future seasons.

After finishing several missions together, the new missions appear one at a time, leading to annoying situations where we send out crusaders, and then immediately, another mission appears, which would have been a better mission for the particular crusaders sent out just a moment before.
Display all of the mission slots with the unavailable slots showing their cooldown timers, so we can plan for starting infrequent missions.

3) We're happy with the amount of crafting material awarded at this point in time. It's meant to be a grind to get higher level legendaries, since some of them are so powerful.

5) We can consider adding more levels to the Prospector talent. To speed up Epic materials, you can buy the box of materials from the Challenge Store, or just open more Jeweled chests of any variety.
6) We only expect players to complete two or three tiers of an event each time it comes around. The Head Start talent is more about the players who don't want to pop a time warp to start the first objective in an event ...

My point of contention has to do with chests, actually. The description for event chests says "chests will weight their gear drops towards unfilled slots and upgrades." My experience with Alm, Imani, and now Hildr suggests that that simply is NOT true for upgrades - in fact it feels like it's the exact opposite.
It's not a problem for unfilled slots - I'm almost if not always getting all 3 gear slots within three Tier 5 chests. But when it comes to upgrades, and especially to Epic upgrades, there doesn't seem to be any weighting towards non-Epic gear at all. My cases in point:
-I was attempting to get Alm's epic tooth gear piece. I had both other epics, so it should have been more likely to get this one. Instead, I received the epic toothbrush SIX times, and the epic tool twice, before the tooth finally dropped. Nine epics to fill the unfilled slot? That's not consistent with weighting, it's practically anti-weightin...

We don't guarantee a new Epic in our chests, just an Epic with the pity timer.
There is weighting towards an upgrade, but the chest contents are still randomly generated.
Think of one of those carnival spinner prize wheels. The weighting increases the size of the wedge for the missing upgrade piece of gear, but the spinner still needs to land in the wedge to award it.
I'll note down the topic of gearing Crusaders easier has come up again though.

I was wondering when you ask the players which skin we'd like, do you have a rough outline for each Crusader? And could this mean every Crusader eventually will have a skin (perhaps multiple for some)?

When we ask, we're trying to gauge what skin might be the most appreciated at the time for an event, or because we didn't really have a fun idea jump out at us right away.
Ideally, we'd like to give every Crusader a skin before we start doubling up, but we'll see how that plan works out.
Any word on when the rest of the T5 crusader recruit missions will go active? I was out for about six months and it seems like I missed a lot.
The remaining Tier 5 Crusader recruit and gear missions will be added within a few weeks after the end of the Schoolhouse Scourge event.

The Final Fantasy objective was based on a player request to let the Orcs, Elfs and Leprchauns have their time to shine, without the Animals or Humans getting in the way.
Since Dragons have the Animal tag, they aren't included on that one.
