Ok so, i need some clarification here, wtf is "nodes" and when you say "low-latency" how low are we talking about here? Because although i don't have the slightest idea about wth is "nodes", i would assume its not the same thing as having straight up Latam servers.

Also if you guys care so much why did you reveal literally a day before release that the game wasn't going to have SA servers and and did it in the most inconspicuous manner as well? Pretty shady if you ask me.

Please check the reply above. Thanks!

Bro, it's the same shit. People from Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile WILL PLAY WITH THE SAME HORRIBLE LATENCY OF 200MS. Don't they understand that Latin America is not Mexico?
We had servers in BRAZIL during beta testing, and now we are denied it. Putting nodes in isn't going to fix latency, don't even strain. We need real servers in a strategic place in Latin America (Brazil).
You are killing your game for a huge base of players who bet on you.

So basically it's a SA-only playground, only when there's too little people in SA, then it will direct you to NA node. The SA Location in this case will also be based in SA.

Here's how the node system works: When SA player joins battle, he will be connected to SA node first. If SA node has enough player, they will play together in SA node. If there's not enough player and matchmaking takes too long, SA player will then be connected to NA server

Following the global launch of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, we’ve heard from players who are eager to jump into the game but are frustrated at the lack of official servers in their respective regions.

The team at 24 Entertainment is hard at work implementing a solution to bring those affected the optimal NARAKA: BLADEPOINT experience. The team is currently establishing network nodes in both Oceania and South America, which players from those regions will automatically connect to. These nodes are connected to the South East Asia server (for Oceania) and North American Server (for South America). When matchmaking begins, the nodes will prioritize players from the Oceania hub and South American hub, delivering low-latency matchups.

If there aren’t enough players from Oceana or South America in the matchmaking queue, the nodes will redirect players to the main servers in North America or South East Asia res... Read more
