[2022] Steam Deck - Unable to Connect error

I’m sincerely sorry you’ve been experiencing this situation with the Steam deck unable to establish connection.

So far I’ve seen some other cases but most were resolved after installing the EAC Proton Runtime, in your case as for now you could probably try uninstalling the game and deleting all the related info and then trying once again with the EAC executable available for the steam deck.

I’m really sorry you’re experiencing this as well, for the time I’ve done some research to find further troubleshooting that could work in this case, I see most of the players are having this same exact situation. I’m still waiting for a resolution for the ticket raised and hope to bring an update soon!

Please keep in mind that New World does not currently support Steam Deck. Compatibility issues may arise from time to time. There may be some known workarounds that may be worked through, but again, results may vary.
