I am going to earnestly ask everyone to not take this conversation off the rails. Like please help me out here.

Representation is super important. It isn’t easy for folks in the often heavily represented groups to understand what it might be like to not see positive reflections of yourself in the movies, tv shows, games, and communities you are a part of. We sincerely care about creating a space where everyone feels heard and seen and welcome.

The challenge I have is how do create a forum environment where folks feel heard on all the things that can help make New World more enjoyable for everyone without it turning into a place where strangers scream at each other about the things they disagree on in life.

So I need everyone’s help. We have to find the line on what is constructive conversation that can enrich the game and our community and what are divisive threads that are no longer are about the game. And when moderation starts closing threads on fire to try to clean them up and enforce our Code of Conduct, I ask everyone to not take that as a queue to create more of those discussions.

I will continue to monitor this thread, I ask that everyone act civil.

I don’t know what “post immunity” means.

This has wandered pretty far from New World, I am not sure what constructive take aways are available at this point that could be applied to our game or services. Thanks for everyone who helped keep things civil when possible.
