[2022] [Notice] Temporarily Disabling Specific In-Game Content

We have temporarily disabled Tier 5 crafting recipes for Gathering Tools and Bags in order to address an issue with the 600GS perk.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

We have temporarily disabled the following side quests that were impacted by the removable of rewards/XP to the previously mentioned mobs:

• Sand Walkers
• Roar of the Manticore
• The Queen’s Brood (Elite)

We will re-enable these quests once we have the issue resolved.

This should be re-enabled as of the October 19th/20th downtime.

We have provided compensatory items to players who were impacted by an issue with crafted Tier 5 Bags and Gathering Tools after the 1.7.0 Update, which has since been resolved.

Please note, this will be automatically delivered to the user’s inventory, but you may need to fully restart New World for it to appear into your inventory.

I’m a little late on this as these went out last night, but we listened to your feedback and wanted to provide compensation more in line with items lost for the issue in the 1.7.0 update that impacted the crafting of Tier 5 Bags and Gathering Tools.
