Good morning everyone!

I will be closely monitoring this thread, I appreciate the interest and excitement over the dev video! I also appreciate and understand the extreme scrutiny these videos go under. Just a few things to keep in mind please…

  1. This is ONLY our second video, please be kind and understanding. We’re learning what works and doesn’t work.

  2. We heard the request loud and clear to make these videos shorter, and understand that we can only touch on so many topics. If your concern wasn’t touched on, that doesn’t mean we’re ignoring it or not working on it. ALSO, that is why I’m collecting more direct feedback to better help the community’s contributions to these sorts of things.

  3. PLEASE BE KIND. Once again, we are all humans, with human feelings. We ARE trying and we ARE working hard. We also love all feedback, even negative feedback… just please don’t make it nasty and making it instead constructive is more helpful and easier to digest.

Luck is brought up alot, I can add that to my presentation to them about a topic they should discuss. Or atleast address why it hasn’t been detailed yet.

We would LOVE to get to a point for a live Q&A on twitch or even in Discord… but I think it’s best for both sides to wait until we are a bit better at communication.

Appreciate this! Yes!! I think some important things people are not focusing on are…

  • concrete concepts are now slowly being changed, such as gating and adjusting it with adding things to the faction shop.

Too many times things are COMPLETELY changed right away and causes a mess. Either for players or for devs. Not saying that people wouldn’t love gating to be removed but there is always more to a situation then it seems. This is a big first step.

  • focusing on bugs, bots and balancing

Content is finally taking a backseat for the time being to work on this. This is something I’ve seen again and again on the forums, discord, etc. Players begging for bugs to be worked on. This is also a big step.

  • understanding that trust is a big thing and how important feedback is
  • starting communication about transfers and merges, and the issues we’re currently struggling with

We don’t think the weapons are in a good spot, we are looking into and working on the balance of weapons among many other bugs, balances and bots.

Sadly there are many more bugs then the three that you listed.

We’ve heard from the community that they would like us to focus on this, so here we are.

Exactly this, there is ALOT to work on and elevate the gameplay across the board.

I’m confused… we heard that you wanted us to focus on bugs, so we’re focusing on bugs.

Agreed on the balance and new content will still be worked on and launched in the future.

Of course, there will always be thoughts on both sides. Ideally along with these videos, we’re hoping to increase communication in blogs, social media and here on the forums and Discord. With it only being our second video, we’re trying to find the sweet spot.

We are aware of this and trying to find a balanced solution.

If you have thoughts on how this could be worked on, feel free to let me know!

This… I don’t think many people understand or realize there is ALOT going on behind the scenes. Lots of different teams, lots of levels of approval or people to be convinced, then there is the actual work and the struggle of communicating in a still pandemic world and us all working from home.

There was an update with it being touched on in the video, we’re aware and working on this for Feb’s focus.
