There seems to be a lot of confusion on the role of Community.

The Community Team spends a huge amount of time with the Dev team, discussing feedback and issues, drafting updates on issues, preparing patch notes, meeting with research and data to generate more comprehensive feedback reporting to help the team prioritize, and tackling a lot more. Our team is also responsible Social Media, Editorial, Creator Relations, and support with Marketing and Partnerships.

We do not have any volunteers, in fact most labor laws make using volunteers extremely limited, though smaller companies often violate those laws.

I understand that folks want more detailed news in the form of articles and dev blogs. We hear you and we’re working on it.

I also understand it is extremely tempting to insult staff when you are frustrated, they are on the clock and can’t really punch back. But we do our best to treat everyone here with respect and we expect the same.

If I understand the discussions you want to have about Combat, you are talking about design and balance and not so much bug and things working as unintended.
Right now, we have so many critical bugs and things not working as intended that those issues tend to get the focus right now.
But this would be a great subject for a dedicated dev blog from the team.
