[2022] [Focus Feedback] Leaderboards

Greetings Adventurers,

Introducing Leaderboards!

Leaderboards

Leaderboards will reward players, Companies, and Factions across the following categories:

• Mutated Expeditions
• Faction War
• Vs. Environment
• Vs. Players
• Trade Skills

Every category contains subcategories. For example, Faction War includes Territory Control Score. Finish in the top 10 of any Leaderboard at the end of weekly, monthly, or quarterly rotations for exclusive skins, achievements, and titles. Rewards cannot be earned in the PTR.

The team has posed some questions; please feel free to copy and paste the following as a template:

• Is the Leaderboard discoverable in the UI?
• Does this iteration of the Leaderboard include a good spread of boards/stats being tracked?
  • What might you want to see boards for in future versions?
• Any other general feedback on Leaderboards?

Thanks very much for pointing this out — it’s not updated on PTR yet, but these Achievements have been removed from the overall Achievements screen, so players will not need to place on any leaderboards to 100% their cheevos.

It will be resolved before Leaderboards are live!

Thanks for the feedback, everyone, keep it coming! Looking into answers/clarity for some of your questions, will update when possible.

Understandably it can be frustrating to give feedback that you feel you have already given and we appreciate your feedback even if it feels redundant. All leaderboard feedback is being reviewed and evaluated. If you feel your previous feedback is still relevant know that we still have it but you can share it again in this thread if you’d like.

That’s correct, not all rewards are currently implemented on the PTR. We’re currently evaluating player behavior with leaderboards on the PTR and are re-evaluating rewards for all leaderboards based on those behaviors.

Hey everyone! For some clarity on the General PTR Feedback thread, it was moved to archive (and thus no feedback lost!) as the general consensus was that other than Leaderboards, there wasn’t any other new features to discuss. We still want that feedback on how we’re tackling PTR, so feel free to throw it into the general Game Feedback section!

I hope that clears things up! Here’s my post before archiving, which I recognize isn’t visible after archiving and thus created some confusion! We’re always here to listen, but the point of that thread was to dive in on feature focused feedback. I’ll revive a new one when there’s more to discuss!

With today’s announcement about Leaderboards launching on February 7, we will be closing and archiving this thread. Thank you for all your thoughts and feedback and please continue to leave your comments about Leaderboards in the appropriate sections of the forums.

We’ve made adjustments to the rewards based on the feedback/data. The PTR has not been updated to reflect the final state of the Leaderboards. We’re also aware of two issues we’re working to resolve, so we will be launching with the following noted:

• Temporarily disabled Open World Kills Leaderboard while we resolve an issue.
• Outpost Rush Heals do not currently match their Leaderboard. We are working on a fix.

There’s a lot of great feedback here and as with most feedback, we get a spectrum (some contradictory, some we won’t implement, others we’d love to implement but there’s no quick way to do so, but all helpful to evaluate). If a change wasn’t made, it does not necessarily indicate that it never will be! We’re looking forward to hearing everyone’s feedback when it hits the live game on the 7th!
