Global chat is restricted to accounts that are more than 72 hours old in New World. This is meant to help curb bad actors and bots from spamming the chat with gold selling sites. The Help channel and Area channel are always available, though!

Hi everyone.

Even if the message was 100% fine and I completely understand the reasons behind it, the discussion went way out of the line and that’s why I locked the thread. Sadly, keeping it open wasn’t an option as the conversation was getting more and more heated.

If a new similar thread is created I want to ask everybody to just be polite. You don’t like it? You don’t agree with it? You think it goes against the ToS somehow? Report the thread or the messages and both the CM team and the moderation team will look into them but there is no need to mock or insult anyone.

I just want to clarify that players accessing the game for the first time during this free weekend can access all servers, they aren’t forced to play on the Free Weekend ones.

These Free Weekend Servers are special and will be merged into existing servers after the event is over but we don’t have information yet to share on where servers will be merged.
