Not all feedback will directly impact the game. However, that doesn’t mean we’re not listening or thoroughly discussing it. We have standing meetings every morning to discuss feedback/bugs and I am (when not in the forums) actively in conversations all day long.
Hey all! Just wanted to say that we have addressed combat balance in previous Developer Videos if you want to check them out.
In short, combat balance will be constantly changing, especially with the addition of new weapons, perks, etc. and even then, it takes a lot of trial and error (and testing!) to get it right.

However, to clarify, we had a bug that if you opened your chest before we fixed said bug, you would receive the wrong items. We fixed this pretty quickly, but still there were those who opened their chest while it was bugged!
Since there’s no way to get those chests again, we sent out replacements for those who opened them before the fix. Thus why people are getting chests!

Correct. The mage weapons had CDR on dodge chosen to provide some synergy with the intelligence and focus armors that drop from the expedition because some pieces of those armors roll with dodge focused perks.
I’d like to hear more on your thoughts regarding this change, though, with that in mind!
To first answer your questions regarding any changes to this, it’s currently going through testing. Most changes cannot happen instantaneously. Our team needs to thoroughly test everything before implementing them into the game in order to make sure it’s done right. That means these changes may not go into place more than a month out. It’s better we do it right. That being said, adjustments are being worked on!

We understand you’re frustrated because you care! And the feedback on communication is important and I appreciate it. I’m less than a month into this role, so you’ll have to understand it’ll also take me some time to ramp up and understand how best to relay information!
But my goal is to create that two-way communication around these issues as much as possible. Right now I can tell you that we are actively looking at your feedback and concerns and talking it through. To clear up some confusion, Glacial Sorrow Ice Gauntlet also had the Plagued Strikes perk which is intended for melee weapons and was on our list to fix.
Ultimately, though, we are listening to your unhappiness around this change and discussing the best next steps. Please standby!

That shouldn’t be the case. There’s nothing wrong with the freedom perk itself nor the gear.
