Our community is incredibly welcoming and continues to grow each year
The No Man's Sky subreddit alone is now 650,000 subscribers strong π€―
In October we brought The Last Campfire to Steam with a demo as part of Steam Fest
It's been lovely to watch new folks experience this wholesome game for the first time β€οΈ
Frontiers was a huge ambitious update, bringing new life and civilisations to No Man's Sky.
It brought a lot of players, new and old, to the game πͺ
Anticipation for our next update got a little out of hand and ummmm.... π
For the seventh day the update is not released I have put @NoMansSky 's head onto... your Wildest Desires https://t.co/lftV9dIADV
Prisms was a moment to improve the visuals across the game with some technology we had been cooking up for a while π₯³
The Normandy warping into No Man's Sky was so surreal and still feels weird to type π
We added support for Deep Learning Super Sampling for improved framerate, even in virtual reality π€―
Expeditions have been far more popular than we expected, introducing seasons of content folks could play through together
It became many players favourite thing to do π
At the start of the year Companions introduced pets you could raise from eggs, train and talk to
One of our favourite things now is seeing so many screenshots of travellers with their pets β€οΈ
2021 was a challenging year, but I'm super proud of what the Hello Games team has managed to achieve this last 12 months πͺ
We couldn't do it without the support of the community and those around us. Know we feel incredibly grateful. Thank you π
