I love this! Mod Dylan and I were talking about it the other month when discussing adding bards to pubs and Mod Nin has made something pretty cool which would help the tech side of things!

Funnily enough the spark for warding was from a book called ‘The Painted Man’. Suppose I should’ve been paying more attention to what Rojer was doing rather than Arlen…

Haha this is something we've considered. Skill names in OSRS are weird and don't follow consistent grammatical rules. Even "Runecrafting" is actually just "Runecraft," but using the verb form is so dominant and flows nicely with a lot of other skills (Mining, Smithing, Woodcutting, etc) that most people don't even realize it!

So we've settled on simple "Bard." Maybe not the most conducive to being verb-ified as Runecraft or Attack, but we wouldn't want to confuse it with real life barding!

I dunno man, horses ain’t real :P

So what are the chances of this getting into the game because we've seen many new skill proposals in this subreddit but we've yet to get a new skill since OSRS was released.

Btw I hope you have enough energy during the day, it's 4 a.m. in the UK, 3 when you posted

Mild insomnia ain’t fun, managed to fall asleep but running real low today, haha

Oh, and to answer your question… I really liked exploring as a concept too but feel it may not work as smoothly as the design implied. It’s been a while since we had a good look at the next skill but I believe it’s something we’re going to explore soon :)
