Does the fossil update mean we would get rare fossils at a much faster rate or we simply won’t get other fossils anymore? Because if we would get rare fossils much more often it may change my road to 99 prayer in leagues haha.
The rates of which fossils are dropped haven't changed, when you roll for a fossil, it will see which one you get, then see if it needs to be stopped and doesn't reroll or move onto the next fossil afterwards.

So does the new settings menu mean we can't adjust any of the readily available toggles without now interrupting our actions? Like brightness, fixed/resize, shift drop?
You can move and do things with it open. It closes when you open another interface in its place though, also closes in combat.

The settings window can be used without interrupting other actions!
Love the interface, looks clean. My biggest concern is the inability to change attack options whilst in combat with the new interface.
Player attack options and NPC attack options are still in the side panel :)
After playing around with it for a minute and two, its really dope.
Really like when you mess with the camera zoom settings the box goes transparent.

That was a nice addition during development, especially in fixed mode, its hard to see how zoomed in you are :)
Dang, I change settings FREQUENTLY as part of disability issues (1 vs 2 mouse buttons, zooming in/out on graphics with the settings bar, House settings) and this will damage my gameplay to open and navigate a big-ass multi-tiered menu every time instead of each one being easily right at hand :/
I'll raise this with the team and see if there are any plans for additional support to help with this. Thanks for raising it and apologies the new interface is going to negatively impact your gameplay, that definitely isn't the intention!
I have my sound settings off but I'm still hearing combat sounds? (Probably a RuneLite issue as that's what I'm using)
Can confirm that this is a RuneLite issue.
I have one small point of feedback about the settings and that's that it's all text. The icons in the old menu really helped with finding the setting you might be looking for. Kinda miss them for the clarity they provided.
We decided not to bring over the icons to the interface as some settings did have icons, and some didn't, we felt it might look cluttered and not suited for the new interface. However, we will continue to monitor this. :)

The audio problems you are experiencing are a Runelite issue.
I wonder if irons can enchant zenytes/onyxs early with the castle wars potion boost.
All enchant spells should be blocked from casting when in Castle Wars to accomodate the new potion :)

If you're using Runelite you should be able to disable the music plugin to have it work and re-enable it when they update their client.
The official client should be good :)
Could you please make the settings panel non blocking?
So we can still complete actions while modifying it? (if it isn't already the case).
Otherwise, I see it as a downgrade compared to the old, where you could modify a majority whilst doing other stuff.

I LOVE the new setting interface, it also doesnt close when doing activities and becomes transparent as you use zoom slider inside the interface. Really well done!

The new settings are nice! Any chance we can get back the 1% precision we had beforehand (or is that a broken Runelite feature)? These step sizes are pretty big.
I believe that is a Runelite plugin, it will likely be available again soon once they have updated their client, this would be a nice feature to add to the official client for sure!
Any chance we'll be able to adjust the audio volumes by smaller intervals than 25%? Runelite has it, but it's broken now and it really should be a vanilla feature.
