After hearing about the security and safety of Jagex Accounts, I finally bit the bullet and switched about a week ago. I moved my username login (20 year old account to it) along with some new F2P accounts since I maxed a few months ago. I've been playing on them simultaneously (literally all 20) without issue since that day because I have an extremely powerful PC and I enjoy the torture of it. Obviously, I can only play things that are low intensity.

This morning, I woke up to find that ~70% of them have been banned. The bans are completely random. All content I've done on them has been the same. Obviously, this attracted a lot of spectators and I assume some of those that verbally accused me of being a bot farm or "multiboxing" also reported them. But I thought to myself, "No problem! Jagex will investigate these reports and they'll find nothing wrong."

I was wrong!

Desktop workspace 1 had 4 survivors. Workspace 2 had 1 survivor.

Jagex seems to have concluded that I, despite using the Jagex Launcher to launch the client that THEY INSTALLED and logged me into automatically, somehow used a bot script to afk magic. Oh, but not on those four! They were legitimate!

Now I have to deal with an individual appeal on each one. This is a nightmare, and I wish I never even reupped my membership.

If they're going to let me log in to all 20 at the same time, I'm going to do it. And if they're going to ban me for it, they need to just cap the simultaneous login amount. This is ridiculous that a now BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY is still having to guess when it comes to bans. Meanwhile, not a single real player can make it onto the highscores before a 24/7 PvM bot pushes them off.

\"Fully trained staff\". More like a ban dice roll that procs every time you have fun.

\"The client we gave you was a bot client. You can appeal it though!\"

These accounts were new, so it's not the end of the world. My 20 year old account is going to be lonely with the banned accounts taking all the space it would have had for alts. It's not the worst thing, but if this is what you're chancing as a new player of this game, it's no wonder they're struggling to bring in and retain as many new players as they'd like.

I don't know what else to say, other than I'm waiting on the appeal and very disappointed. The evidence I'd say is most apparent to anyone right now is the fact that there are survivors among the group that were identical in playstyle, world, content played, time played, IP, and Jagex Account. Ugh.

A Jmod investigating the macroing guilt of each and every one of these accounts will find that, although they played like a bot (F2P, tons on one PC, etc), they were not macroing. They were actually played very inefficiently. 20 at once is difficult. Lol.

I'd need a display name of one of them to take a look
