Does the amulet of avarice stack with slayer helmet or does it work like salve where only the higher boost is active?

It should work like the Salve in that the higher boost is active.

/u/jagexsarnie Hi Sarnie, can you please clarify are these dates for the beta to begin or for the official release of the mobile updates?

Also will the official release be on Android before iOS? And will there be an iOs beta?

From the article: This means between November 24th and December 8th you’ll be able to get your hands on awesome features like

Heya!

  1. The Android Beta will take place between November 24th & December 8th, I've updated the newspost to make that a little bit clearer.
  2. We'll share more on the progress once the Beta is finished.

Whatever one you'll be testing out the Beta Updates on is the best one to put down :)

How Jagex ruined the Rev caves and what they need to fix:

  • Removing multi everywhere, killed it as a team activity and as a PKing hotspot. The team and clan war aspect of it was one of the best elements. The fact some people were grouping together and RWTing the loot there doesn't justify killing it. It just means that you need to up your game dealing with RWTers, not killing the content.

What you need to do: bring back a multi zone in the Rev caves with higher spawn rates and have smaller sections/tunnels be singles areas with lower spawn rates.

  • Said that you were giving the Thammarons + Mace unique uses with the original Wildy update blog. Failed to deliver on it and completely failed to give an explanation. Not good enough.

What you need to do: Follow up with what you said you were going to do previously - which is give revenants unique mechanics that make the Mace and Thammarons compete with the Craw's bow. You also need to give Thammaron's an inbuilt spell. It was and has always been a Dead on Arrival item because of it.

Nobody wants to use it when they can just use a Trident or Sanguesti staff for any content that requires magic in the Wilderness.

  • Increased the Rev cave tele drop rate 5x and then reduced it to 2.5x - whilst also increasing the amount of revs that players can kill an hour by changing spawn rates - meaning more teles are being flooded into the game. Further, teles already lost the vast majority of their value as most people use the burning amulet now since you removed the multi hotspot area. You also didn't mention this in the original blog and did this change with absolutely no notice or consultation.

You've killed them as a rewarding drop. What you should do: revert the drop rate back to what it was previously or even make them rarer to account for increased spawn rates.

  • Amulet of avarice: good in theory, awful in practice.

You massively increased the damage that Revenants deal, even with a bracelet on. I'm not necessarily against this change, but it makes food the limiting factor in trip length now.

The amulet of avarice is essentially useless now because the food drops from Revenants, which can extend your trip, are noted.

What you need to do: make food drops always be unnoted or give the Avarice a toggle to not note supply drops.

  • Revenant boss. Was promised and you didn't follow through. Biggest issue was that you didn't even touch on why.

Revenants were a cool update. Solid loot, solid risk and tonnes of fun as a PKer and yet now you've completely killed it for really no justifiable reason. It was solid content that Jagex really delivered on and then 'Jagex'd it over time'. It's also just boring now. You sit in a tunnel killing Revs solely by yourself. Pkers offer almost 0 real risk if you have more than 3 brain cells.

Hey Surprisedropbears, thanks for the detailed feedback.

It is really appreciated seeing in-depth comments like this that really dive into why changes are liked/disliked. Honestly, this is the best kind!

We have regular feedback meetings with the team and I'll get this raised in the next one. I know some of the points you've raised are ones we have already discussed or are continuing to do so.

Hopefully I can comeback with some positive news regarding your feedback soon, though that might take time as we have to commit to changes.

I look forward to seeing more descriptive comments like this going forward!
